Let's say we are going through what happened to the lady mentioned yesterday, a bout of food poisoning, I'm sure everyone can relate to that, it happens at home or when we have dined out somewhere.
How can you feel when you are going through the discomfort of that experience, if you were feeling a little down before this happened, then you might get spend some time blaming, the restaurant, store, cook or whoever. Then a little revenge might may you feel even better, calling the health inspectors or some other regulator, that will teach them not to be more careful! It's not right that they get away with this.
Then after that you might run around and tell everyone don't eat this or eat at this place, just to protect everyone you know in case this might happen to them, spread a little fear all in the name of love of course.
Then after this you might remember that you eat about a 1,000 or so meals a year and this doesn't happen very often, maybe once or twice a year, so this is no big deal and you always recover from it, well you are reading this so that is good evidence to support that view. When this does happen it's a good opportunity to slow down and relax and just take care of yourself and your body will be fine, maybe you were rushing around a lot recently.
As you go through these steps and you can start with any one of them, you are mentally feeling better and the funny thing is the body seems to recover faster when the mind is better.
I'm off to breakfast, have fun.
