I was at the airport buying water to drink on the plane, the lady in front of me was paying for something and the clerk asked if she wanted a receipt, she said no in a not so friendly way and the clerk gave her the change in an abrupt way.
I was next and paid for the water and was asked by the clerk if I would like a receipt, I replied oh yes please and I was given my change and receipt with a smile and a very nice have a nice day, I replied thank you, you too.
A very straight forward exchange that illustrates how people retaliate when treated badly, we have all done it at some point. People want to help, they want to be treated well and when that all comes together people will make the extra effort to help more.
It's pretty straightforward, yet every day in every home or office people get caught up the treat each other badly routine. It doesn't matter who started it first, change for your sake, it will pay off for you and get you back in the vortex.
