Almost Over 2

I encourage you to write down where you were in your life at the beginning of the decade and where you are now and have appreciation for the progress you have made in that time.

As I observe many people I know, either as current or former clients and others who are part of my life the progress and transformation  and who they are now is quite stunning. They have accomplished much and yet many lack appreciation and ownership of that, instead focus on where or who they are not, bringing much suffering.

I used to get frustrated observing that suffering, in a way I wanted to control their experience so they didn't suffer so much. Needless to say that wasn't doing me much good and I learned to allow each person to go through what they chose to go through.

My end of decade message is this: I encourage you to own who you are, appreciate who you are, choose ease and peace more quickly than you have before and live in the possibility.

Almost over

There are just a few days left in the year and the decade, it has been an amazing time period for me and I'm very appreciative of all of those who been part of my life, both socially and professionally.

It was early 1999 when I chose a deliberate path of personal growth and expansion which took me to many different modalities and people. Some things felt good, others less so, that didn't make them right or wrong we can't expect to resonate with everything.

There were many moments of doubt especially in the beginning, a lot of suffering mentally, a lot of resistance, a few wrong turns and lessons, discovering ways not to do things and many more ways to do things.

Fear when doors closed and great joy when bigger doors opened, a great lesson in trust that helped me in later years.

Experiencing increasingly higher levels of love and peace, it took some time to understand and believe that this level of joy I was experiencing, could be even better, yet a short time later it was better.

All of those experiences have brought me to a place of acceptance of who I am now. The complete me, what I can do and what I am unable to do, who I am and who I am not.

It is from this acceptance that new experiences, new knowledge, deeper understanding of the universe and more will come faster and easier. In other words I got out of my own way.

It's the season

In Colorado at least we are expecting a white Christmas and many parts of the world may join us, so relax and enjoy these snow pictures.

Are you at peace?

The holiday week is underway and many are preparing for visitors, or traveling, shopping, parties to go to, meals to organize all on top of the regular activities. Are you feeling overwhelmed? Do you have a story or two running in your mind? Are you worried that it won't get done in time?

You are not alone, many people get overwhelmed at this time of year, it's understandable, yet it can be more peaceful and less stressful if you choose it to be that way.

The holiday comes around each year, so you have a history and you do manage to get it all done in time don't you? I thought so. How about making that your story, I always get it done on time. Does that feel better than "I'll never get it done in time"?

Do you find it easy to ask others for help? Not really? Could you ask for help nicely? People do want to help, sometimes the tone of voice doesn't come out well when we are overwhelmed, it becomes more abrupt.

These two easy steps can bring more peace for you this holiday season, of course there are many more, make it easy though and keep it simple.

Have you noticed how much longer it takes to get things done when you are overwhelmed? Use those two steps, feel less overwhelmed and get more done more easily. Or if you enjoy it the other way keep doing what you are doing.

Why am I so confident? - 2012

The hype for December 21st 2012 is well underway, the movie attracted a lot of viewers and there is a  complete section in bookstores for all the books about 2012. There are primarily two interpretations for what may happen, the end of the world apocalypse scenario and the shift in consciousness scenario.

This is all based on the Mayan Calendar which could end on December 21st 2012 or continue depending on your interpretation and planetary alignments. This is what gives all the fears the necessary plausibility to create doubts, yes there is a calendar, that is true, just like Y2K, that was true also.

Since the beginning of time, humans have had this fear  of the world coming to an end, and for thousands  of years it hasn't happened, obviously. It is a great selling point though combine a plausible event with this fear and you really create panic. Think back to December 31st 1999, what were you expecting, what hoarding did you do, and what happened?

I will leave you to read more on the Mayan Calendar it is interesting reading, look for the different interpretations that have the calendar continue. You may find some peace.

The other aspect and somewhat less threatening, though some authors have some being left behind from the upcoming conscious shift. For most people they will feel no difference, just like the harmonic concordance of  2003. Most feel the conscious shifts from events such as the tsunami and the recent recession, those really provide a shift in consciousness, albeit short term.

Again looking through history, cycles, human behavior and emotions the patterns are clear, at least to me. That's why I'm confident that December 22 2012 will be a typical day as will the decades that follow.

I would encourage you to research as much as you can now, the hype now is nothing to what will happen in the next year. When you have found peace, you will be able to turn it all off and focus on living.

I do find it interesting that a number of those who believe it's all over in 2012 also believe that global warming will destroy the planet too. It's a bit of a split energy don't you think? If you really believe the former why would you  have to worry about the latter?

I hope this brings you some peace on the issue.

Gratitude or Appreciation

When you feel gratitude, often you are looking at a difficulty that you have overcome, but there is still some of that "struggle" vibration present. The state of appreciation is seeing whatever you are looking at through the eyes of Source. . . You could walk down a crowded street with all kinds of things that a lot of other people would find reason to criticize or worry about, and you would not have access to them because your vibration of appreciation is picking out for you things of a different vibrational nature.

Why am I so confident? - Climate

Why am I so confident that that we have nothing to worry about as far as the demise of the planet due to global warming?

The pattern and cycles of nature are such that the planet goes through a warming and cooling cycle every 40 years or so. As recently as 1975, some of the same scientists that are currently warning us of demise due to warming trends were warning us about our demise due to an up coming ICE AGE. Yes the headlines in the media were all about COOLING and how Canada would be frozen over in ice by now, caused by humans of course.

Here is an excerpt from Time magazine in 1974:

"However widely the weather varies from place to place and time to time, when meteorologists take an average of temperatures around the globe they find that the atmosphere has been growing gradually cooler for the past three decades. The trend shows no indication of reversing. Climatological Cassandras are becoming increasingly apprehensive, for the weather aberrations they are studying may be the harbinger of another ice age. [...] Man, too, may be somewhat responsible for the cooling trend. The University of Wisconsin's Reid A. Bryson and other climatologists suggest that dust and other particles released into the atmosphere as a result of farming and fuel burning may be blocking more and more sunlight from reaching and heating the surface of the earth. [...] Whatever the cause of the cooling trend, its effects could be extremely serious, if not catastrophic. Scientists figure that only a 1% decrease in the amount of sunlight hitting the earth's surface could tip the climatic balance, and cool the planet enough to send it sliding down the road to another ice age within only a few hundred years."

I feel that we may have already started a new cooling cycle, it will not be known for a few more years, we are certainly due for a cooling cycle. It will not mean that the world is coming to an end, just a a normal cycle.

Having said all that, there is nothing wrong with recycling or solar and wind power, those things are great, we just don't need to force it upon the world built on a fearful foundation.

I hope you find peace or confidence or at least less fearful that we are going through a cycle and that we aren't going to be flooded out or some other end of the world scenario.

Why am I so confident?

I'm asked on a frequent basis, why am I so confident and sure about issues such as global warming, the financial recession and now 2012.

First and foremost, I trust my feelings. I can feel the difference in what is fear and what is hype or hysteria. From there I look at the broader perspective and then I look at patterns of human behavior. These patterns repeat themselves time and time again, so history helps with that.

None of that is special to me, a lot of others do this too. Where a difference occurs is encourage people to be calm and take necessary steps for their own wellbeing, or to let them know they have nothing to worry about. Others see what is going on and spread panic and how we are doomed and it's the end of the world if we don't act.

Those people play on our emotions which have not changed since we first arrived here in human form. Fear, greed, control and survival have not changed over time, though what we are fearful etc about certainly has.

Of all those emotions, survival is the one that creates panic, it's the one those in power, scientists and others use to get their point across and if they are plausible enough, and present it in such a way to create doubt about our survival it will take root and grow from there.

Great movie

If you have time to see a great  uplifting movie, check out the Blindside, it's based on a true story about football player Michael Oher, who plays for the Baltimore Ravens. You can see a clip of the movie here.

It's a movie for all the family, and watch for little SJ to steal the movie!

Global Warming update

A hacker apparently was able able to retrieve documents and emails from the leading data research center and has published them on the web. It shouldn't come as a surprise that it appears some manipulation of data, deception, deleted data that doesn't support the warming theory and other fraudulent misbehavior has been going on.

Interesting how the same behavior was going on during the real estate bubble and banking problems, those people who questioned those activities were also called skeptics.

Of course there are always fact presented to create doubt, yes ice is melting (the fear of rising sea levels has not happened), yes real estate prices were going up and yes there is a Mayan calendar.

Step back and watch for the control and deception it is so obvious to see. History has shown from Churches or  religions, royalty or governments those establishments fear the masses stepping into their power. Isn't it interesting that in most parts of the world government is getting bigger?
