Last year, I observed 3 very specific situations of older people in wheel chairs, they were close to passing over, or croaking if you prefer. In each situation you could see very clearly they were at peace and happy, which is the main thing for them.
The locations were the local botanic gardens in full color splendor, the local butterfly pavilion where thousands of butterflies were at play also in full color splendor and finally at one of the casinos in Las Vegas, sitting at the slot machines, drink and cigarette in hand with all the color and sounds of the casino.
Many would judge the Las Vegas one as being wrong, especially in comparison to the other two. Yet those at the casino were as happy and at peace as the others. It may not be everyone's choice to go there, that doesn't make it wrong, it's just a different choice, that's all.
We humans appear to judge a lot about what others do, perhaps we would like to control everyone, or we may feel unsafe or uncomfortable about what others do. Are we at peace when we judge? Usually not, yet here we are judging someone doing something that brings them peace and happiness and the judgment makes us unhappy. You mean all I have to do is X and you will be unhappy? Thanks for all that power!!
You may notice this going on at home or work, you could keep judging or be happy. You are the one in charge.
